Candle safety measures:
• Trim the wick. Keep the wick trimmed to about 1/8″ – 1/4″ after each use
• Let the wax pool. For the best burn and fragrance, let your candle burn until the top layer becomes a pool of liquid wax from edge to edge before putting it out
• Burn it safely. Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface avoiding drafts and never leave it unattended. Burn for at least 1 hour, and at most 3 hours at one time
• Only burn the candle when 1/2″ of wax remains. Overheating the candle can cause the jar to break. Reuse or recycle the container
• Do not leave a burning candle unattended. Before sleeping or leaving the room, ensure your candle is completely out and there is no glow coming from the wick ember
• Never touch or move a burning candle, wait until the liquified wax has thoroughly cooled
• Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Place lit candles where children, pets, or anyone else can’t knock them over
• When burning multiple candles, keep each candle at least three inches apart. This ensures they don’t melt one another or create their own drafts
• Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Before re-lighting, let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts
• Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle. Do not use water to extinguish a candle, this can cause the hot wax to splatter and could break a container
• For the ultimate burn experience, use a ceramic bowl when lighting the molded soy wax candle. By doing so, the wick can work its magic and ensure that every last drop of wax is utilized, giving you the most out of your candle
